Cradle is a lamp for an entrance or hallway. The base of the lamp is designed to fit a few personal objects. The lampshade is not fixed, but suspended on an aluminium structure using the lamp’s cord. Taken away from the structure, it can be used as a torch. The lamp is the result of research into materials. Concrete is used in a delicate way with a smooth finish and fine details. Its heaviness makes the lamp both visually and functionally more grounded and stable. Its rough aspect contrasts with the mat white finish of the lamp shade.
